Dear friends, family, and basketball enthusiasts,
I’m reaching out to share a vision that’s been close to my heart for years—a vision to create a space where our passion for basketball can thrive, where dreams take flight, and where our community unites in celebration of the game we love.
At Off Ball Foundation, we believe in the power of basketball as a tool for transformation. Through our 501(c)(3) nonprofit initiative, we are committed to bridging the gap and creating opportunities for underserved youth. We provide life-changing basketball training and character development to those whose families might not have the means to access such resources. Our mission is to give young athletes the opportunities for professional and personal growth, cultivating the next generation of leaders in life skills and financial capability.
Basketball is more than a game; it’s a vehicle for change, growth, and equal opportunity.
Off Ball Foundation opens doors that might otherwise remain closed, offering programs that empower young athletes both on and off the court. Our vision is to cultivate a generation of youth who not only excel in basketball but also develop the critical life skills needed to thrive in any arena.
The Vision
Imagine a place where aspiring players of all ages can practice, learn, and grow—where coaches inspire the next generation, and families come together to celebrate their shared love of the game. Our plan is to renovate this warehouse into a state-of-the-art basketball facility featuring:
- A half court for practices and training
- A training room equipped with the appropriate gear for maintenance and rehab
- A community space for workshops, events, and gatherings
- Youth programs to nurture talent and foster teamwork
- A space offering after-school tutoring programs focused on core subjects, as well as physical education (PE) for children who are being homeschooled
The Challenge
While the vision is clear, making it a reality presents challenges. Renovating the warehouse requires substantial funds—everything from flooring and hoops to lighting and community amenities. Our first goal is to raise $26,000 in just 60 days - every dollar counts! The foundational and most important step needed for training and practices: the flooring for our basketball court. These donations will go directly toward creating a safe, high-quality surface where our athletes can thrive and improve.
