Support The Good Tree in Organising Programs
Donation protected
The Good Tree's vision is to be a safe, empowering, supportive and impactful place for girls living on society's margins; in poor communities, with limited resources, underestimated because of their backgrounds.
In the last year, your donations amounting to 1300 supported us in our first project: building a girls' community centre in Teshie camp, and now, we are once again counting on your generosity to support us in furnishing the space, and kickstarting structured programs.

The structure was built on land by the Ghana Armed Forces in Teshie. Accra's Female Artist Network came through to paint and brighten up the space with a mural. We also received furniture donations, art supplies, an old laptop and some books. Ours is a small space that serves as a hang-out spot for girls to chill out, play games, make art, or read. As we mobilize more resources, we plan to design a more intuitive and stimulating environment and equip the space with suitable furniture, more books, digital devices, and an internet connection.
We are still putting together a budget for all our needs, as well as putting together a comprehensive financial report of how we utilized the last bulk of funds. We'll be sure to send these to your emails and link them here once they're ready. But for now, do share our page and encourage your folks to support us.
It is a pleasure to be united with you all in service to girls in Teshie.
