Hi, my name is Lesley and I am raising money for Christmas for our girls.

We have reached our stretch target. Thank you everyone who has donated. Any additional money will be used for warm socks and jumpers and activities for the girls.

We have reached our initial target of £600. Any additional money raised will go towards providing the girls with a "back to school pack" with pens, rulers and other necessary items to ensure they have everything they need for the new term.

The girls who come to Build A Girl UK are vulnerable to exploitation and most live in poverty.

Our girls range in age from 10 to 18. We work with them in separate age groups (10-13 and 14-18).

For Christmas we want to get warm coats and shoes for those who need them.

Of course we want them to have some fun as well, so we will be having a party with good food and fun presents.

We try to involve their parents so we will have a family Christmas party.
