Build a mosque to remember an exceptional human

My name is Sarah and I am trying to raise funds to build a small mosque through Al Mustafa Trust in the name of my beloved father, Dr Mohammad Rezaur Rahman, who sadly lost his battle and passed away peacefully in hospital on the morning of 14 July 2023.

My father was such an admirable man. He spent his life saving children as a Paediatrician. Himself he suffered from multiple ailments - heart failure, hypertension, COPD, diabetes (to name a few) but the remarkable thing was he always remained in good spirits. In the last 6 months of his life he suffered huge amounts, having developed a spine infection which stole him of his ability to walk. The last time I spoke to him, he told me he would fight and that he wanted to live. But he lost his battle. He was so weak and he’s in a better place now.

My dad was fond about building mosques and an active member of the local mosque, which he built with his friends. I want to fulfil his wishes and ensure he gets ongoing charity by building a mosque in a place where it is needed most.
