Help rebuild a School Roof in Nicaragua
Donation protected
Hi, I'm Julieta, and I've spent the past three months in northern Nicaragua, where I’ve been welcomed by a wonderful local community. During this time, I've grown especially close to the children in the neighborhood, but I've witnessed something heartbreaking: the local school’s roof is severely damaged, making it impossible for the kids to attend classes during the rainy season, which lasts for over three months. As a result, many children miss out on education for weeks at a time.
After speaking with a local construction company, I learned that the cost to repair the roof is €10,000. Unfortunately, the local municipality doesn't receive government assistance, and they are already fundraising for a purified water system, leaving no budget to fix the school.
Education is a fundamental right for all children, and it’s devastating to see these kids deprived of it because of something so preventable. I’m asking for your help to raise the necessary funds. Every donation will go directly towards repairing the school’s roof, ensuring that these children can continue their education, rain or shine.
Thank you for your support—it means the world to these children and the entire community.
