Build a secondary school for 100 students in Malawi

Hi, my name is Gustavo, and along with my team (Fabiola, Thaise and Isabel), we are trying to raise funds to build a school in Malawi.

According to CIA Factbook (2021), 33% of men and 37% of women in Malawi cannot read.

We are trying to help change this situation by raising funds to build a school there. The school will be located at Chidzanja Parish in the township of Balaka, Southern part of Malawi. This place is conveniently and strategically located closer to roads connecting three of the most disadvantaged districts in accessing education. These are Balaka, Machinga and Mangochi. As such, this school and offering ethos automatically stands out as a pull factor to motivate both the poor, disadvantaged and school drop outs to return. For two classrooms, the maximum capacity is 100 learners. The target amount should be enough to build the school using local workforce and resources whenever applicable. Construction in planned to begin in Nov-24 and start classes by the 2nd half of 2025.
