Dig a Borehole for Ugandan Village
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Shepherd Eddens, and I have created this fundraiser on behalf of God's Will Children Foundation (GWCF), to raise funds to dig a well in the Abedi Village, Uganda. GWCF is a non-profit organization set up by Nsamba Umaru, to help the disadvantaged children of their rural village.
In Nsamba's words, "Imagine sharing a water source with domestic and wild animals such as cattle and reptiles, making it tough in times of collecting water. The long distance and the surrounding environment are not favorable in later hours for the girl child as well all persons. A crowd of everyone is yearning to have a gallon of water from the one source. We wish to have a borehole that can help us and entire Abedi community acquire some clean and safe water. Requesting for your help and support, partnering so that the goal is reached.
BENEFITS OF A BOREHOLE.
●Reduce the spread of water borne disease
●Reduce on the attack from wildlife ,
●Community development
●Improving on sanitation
●Reduce on the crowds
●Get some irrigation system for crops as we always hit by long dry seasons
Acquiring a bore hole, according to the high commodity prices now in Uganda, it will cost around $8,000 (see PDF quote here: https://theomnifoundation.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/water-systemsurvey-and-drilling-hand-pump.kaberamaido.pdf ).
WE REALLY THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR LOVE AND SUPPORT"
