Build a well in Busumbala, Gambia

My name is Ogulcan, I’m from the Netherlands and a few days ago I came into contact with Muhammad, an eighteen-year old boy from Gambia, Busumbala. We got to talking about the living conditions there.

At the moment, there is a great need for clean, drinkable water in the area. Right now, people are forced to walk at least an hour to get to clean, drinkable water. This inevitably leads to challenging situations, especially for the elderly or people with walking difficulties.

So, I got into contact with the company ‘Aquasafe Drilling & General Trading’. The idea is to build a well at the local mosque, in order to make drinking water more accessible to everyone in the area.

The costs to build the well are €3500 euros. I’ll be paying the company directly.

If we are able to collect more money than the intended goal, I will donate it to Muhammad so he will be able to buy a supply of food and drinks for his family and the people in his area.

In order to realize this idea, I need your help. Any donations, big or small, are greatly appreciated. I hope that, this way, we all can help the people of Busumbala.
