Build Back Woofdawg

Hi Folks, Mama Dawg here...
I'm sad to inform you that Woofdawg Hot Dog/Frank Ranalli's Italian Beef suffered a fire on January 8th in the early morning hours. Everyone is ok. A big shout out and thank you to all the first responders who acted so quickly to contain the fire.
The Woofdawg customers have been incredible over the past few years, helping this small biz get through the pandemic and still slingin' tasty dawgs on the other side. A big thank you to everyone for your patronage. It's been our immense pleasure to serve you.
That said, Woofdawg is now up against a new challenge... getting through the next few months while the shop is being restored and all the dawgs and toppings that were lost in the fire get remade.
The story of Woofdawg is a long labour of love. At its inception, owner and operator Stephen Payne (a.k.a Kungfu) set his sights on making "The Best Hot Dog in TO". He had his first gig at Cold Tea in 2014, then on to work through rain, snow, sleet, and heat at many, many music and beer festivals, county fairs and street gigs. In 2019 he found his first TO home at the Dawg Shack at Ossington and Queen before settling into this brick-and-mortar local on Dundas West in 2021. This summer, Stephen finally achieved his goal thanks to Toronto Life, who honoured him with #1 Hot Dog in TO.
If you have ever had the opportunity to taste Stephen's incredible eats, you'll know that we don't want his dream to end. WoofDawg's 8 1/2 -year journey has been filled with many ups and downs, but his love of food and feeding people helps him persevere in tough times.
Please consider supporting Woofdawg's efforts to build back so that the chef can continue doing what he does best, offering up delicious dawgs and bringing you new culinary indulgences like Frank Ranalli's Italian Beef.
Thank you to everyone everywhere who has ever eaten at Woofdawgs or just stopped by to say hello. We hope to get back to filling your bellies as soon as we can.
Love to you all!!
