Build Dining Furniture on B Street

Hi, we are the B Street Boosters, a group of advocates who want to see San Mateo's B Street transformed into an outdoor dining amenity for the community to enjoy.

We'd love to see outdoor dining furniture out on B Street in between 1st and 2nd, as currently that block is underutilized. We propose adding a couple 55 gallon drums to the street to act as dining tables while we wait for more permanent solutions to be added to the street.

By our estimates, each table would cost approximately $190. Our estimated breakdown of the costs of one table is as follows:

We'd love to get a couple tables onto the street to make the space more inviting for the community. If we get more than the initial goal, we'll try to add more tables for each additional $250, or use the money to further beautify our tables.
