Build His House. Haggai 1:7
Donation protected
We are excited to share how the God of “suddenly” has changed our direction.
We left South Carolina and moved just outside Eureka, Kansas. We believe the Lord told us, once we moved here, He would show us what’s next to come, not knowing that this huge door was going to open before us.
A missionary/pastor from this area (whom Willie has known for about 6 years) sold his church building and house to us for $30,000.
The property is situated on Main Street, Eureka. It has two structures, a corporate church building, and a 3-bedroom house situated behind the building. This is a dual divine purpose, with a place to live for our family of five, as well as a corporate place of worship. We plan to have worship nights, and gatherings etc., but we believe the Lord will soon unveil His plan for the church building. God has more in mind than where our imaginations will take us!
Just as a side note, many of you are aware that we planned to live on our 3-acre plot just outside the town of Eureka, but it was just too expensive for us to build a house at this moment. About a week before we found this $30,000 property, the Lord spoke to us in the book of Haggai 1:7 “Give careful thought of your ways.” And verse 9 “to build His house first.”
We are confident that the Lord has changed our direction. When we originally moved to Kansas in August 2022, we had the understanding that our older daughters, Nicola and Kaylee, would stay behind in South Carolina, but God has supernaturally orchestrated for our whole family to stay together again. We believe that the Lord is bringing the youth to this area for His purposes.
After praying and asking the Lord if this property is for us, He gave us this promise, Isa 51:3 “For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.”
Great news is we have a complete sound system with mics and mic stands.
The sound of music and worship will be heard from this place.
The owner has redone all the electrical wiring, and a new cooling/heating system in the house and gathering (church) building.
There are no roof leaks in both structures. The bathroom in the gathering building needs to be completed.
The owner told us that plumbing/ pipeline outside the house needs to be fixed/replaced.
The house needs new windows which the owner had already purchased, but they need installation.
Here is the financial breakdown:
$30,000 purchase price
$680 - transfer costs
$800 - bathroom in the church building. (light fittings, toilet, basin, and faucets)
$2,000 plumbing repairs needed to the water line outside the building.
$1,200 - chairs.
$400 - installation of the windows in the house. The total cost for sealant etc. could be much less than expected.
We will be giving updates as to exact cost of expenses as the project kicks off.
Any amount of money will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
