Build our 1st Home!

Hello 2 everyone reading our story. My name is Patrina Franklin and my fiance is Cedric Wright. We are here 2 raise funds 2 build our home. We have been homeless 7 years and have been through quite a lot together. But we are now in a position 2 gather funds 2 build our 1st Home!

We have attempted 4 the past 3 years 2 get permanent housing through Hopics, which is a housing program in our state that is funded by multiple investors and is supposed 2 get the homeless off the street. Unfortunately, we have come to find out that the housing company will not be able 2 find us housing and are prepared 2 send us back on the street.

This is not an option 4 us. We are working and saving. But even with all this, we need help for land cost and building supplies. So we're asking 4 ur help and generosity so that not only can we leave the streets of Los Angeles once and for all, but have a safe and warm place 2 once again lay our heads.
