Build Pakistan's First Skatepark!

Tax deductible

Salad Days of Skateboarding is teaming up with Wonders Around the World to build the first skatepark in Pakistan!

We have been granted 1500 square meters of land by the Parks and Horticulture Authority of Lahore to build a skatepark in a city park!

Located in Bagh-e-Jinnah park in central Lahore, this 800 square-meter skatepark will serve the greater community by providing a free and safe space for people of all ages and backgrounds to express themselves and come together through skateboarding!

Lahore is home to over 11 million people. The skateboarding scene in Lahore is relatively new but growing and embraces a diverse group of skateboarders. Girls, boys, and people of all ages skate together. Yet, there are few safe places with smooth enough ground away from traffic for skateboarders to practice. A skatepark is crucial for skateboarders to flourish, exercise, and build community.

100% of funds will go to purchase materials, tools, and general construction of the skatepark.

Salad Days of Skateboarding supports developing and underserved skateboarding communities worldwide with donations of equipment, infrastructure, and mentorship to help grow inclusive and self-sustaining skate scenes. We have been working in Pakistan with community leaders in supporting the skateboarding community since spring 2021.
