Build the Booker T West Playground in the NNN!

The Near Northwest Neighborhood, Inc. is renovating Booker T. West Park! Located on Leland Ave. and Pierce, in conjunction with St. Paul Bethel Baptist Church, we are grateful for the support of the City of South Bend through an Ignite Grant, as well as support and funding from the Center for Civic Innovation at Notre Dame. Much of these funds went toward prepping the space (tree removal, fencing, new steps and ADA entrance, etc.), with little remaining for playground equipment beyond swings (including an ADA-accessible option). This is where YOU come in! Please consider supporting this project through donations to be used for playground equipment.
