BUILD THEM BACK: Munder Family needs our support

On October 7th, 2023, an unspeakable terror attack shook the core of Israel and good people worldwide, leading to Ruth (78), Keren (54) and Ohad (9) being held hostage for 48 harrowing days. During this time, they faced horrors that are beyond words. The tragedy decimated their home, took away beloved members of their close-knit family and community through murder or kidnapping, with many still in captivity.

Finally freed on November 24th, 2023, Ruth, Keren and Ohad now face the long, challenging journey of healing from the deep-seated trauma that will, unfortunately, be a part of their lives forever.

This fund is a beacon of hope dedicated to supporting these brave souls in their quest for healing and rebuilding their shattered lives. Every dollar raised will provide a lifeline of mental and physical support—covering housing, nourishment, clothing, and other essential needs—in the days, months, and years to come as they strive to regain a semblance of normalcy.

About the family

Ruth, a devoted enthusiast of painting, knitting, and sewing, embraced her creative pursuits following a fulfilling career as a hairdresser.

Keren, a respected educator, specializes in supporting children with special needs. Her nurturing spirit also shines as a children's volleyball coach.

Ohad, a gifted young individual, cherishes the camaraderie with his friends and has a keen interest in tennis and soccer. Notably, he's a champion Rubik's Cube solver who also dedicates his leisure time to avian care.

Their grandfather Avraham remains captive, Ruth’s son and Keren’s brother, Roey, was murdered.
