Building a Bright Future for Skateboarders

Hello Skateboard World!
My name is Andrew Ryan Walker & I need your help! I’ve been working in skateboarding for 10+ years out of the Philadelphia area & have always tried my hardest to put the skateboarding community on the map for the East Coast.
Hosting hundreds of events for local & big brands, skateboarding has provided me with so much, that it has always been my goal to try and share & inspire the people around me that ANYTHING is possible threw the amazing world of skateboarding.
Launching this Go Fund me has been on my mind for a year now.
I have trouble asking people for help.
But, after some encouraging words from close friends & family in the skateboard community I decided to go for it.
Many of you know the history of the Skateboarding community in South Philadelphia of this beloved ramp, from over a decade at Alter St & 5 years at Wharton St.
Unfortunately, commercial property in Philadelphia and surrounding areas has become too expensive to maintain a rental property for skateboarding.
I needed to produce a solution to keep the ramp alive or finally put it to rest.
In January 2023, the ramp was carefully taken apart & transported into a temporary storage warehouse.
I am now in the process of transporting it to its final location, where a new bowl will be Re Designed & Constructed, & Weather proofed with Skatelite.
Please consider donating whatever you’re comfortable with if anything at all.
This ramp has provided so many memories for skateboarders around the World and it’s my goal to make it better than ever for generations to come.
Love, Walker.
