Building a Cancer Center in Nepal-Pediatric Ward
Tax deductible
CHALLENGE
Did you know there is only a 7% survival rate for children with cancer in Nepal, compared to an 85% survival rate in the US? Also, 1250 children develop cancer each year. Over 6 million people live in the Madhesh Province where there is no cancer center within 8 hours by bus.
SOLUTION
Binaytara Foundation has broken ground for a new facility in 2022, and is building a 200-bed, cutting edge, evidence-based cancer hospital in Janakpur, Nepal! Construction of this 125,000 sq. foot hospital is scheduled to be completed in 2025.
We need your help! We are raising money to help build our Pediatric Oncology Ward, which will be 6000sq.ft. and costs $75 per sq. ft. to build. Will you purchase a square foot to help build this facility that will save thousands of lives? For more information about our organization, please visit us at https://binayfoundation.org/

LONG-TERM IMPACT
The Pediatric Oncology Department will impact families for generations to come. With the inception of this center, children no longer have to separate from their families to receive treatment 8+ hours away, they will be able to get diagnosed more quickly and will have increased survival, while being able to be in a culturally familiar environment where those around them speak the same language.
