Bringing Essentials to Losimingori Community

On our way to Tarangire National Park, we stopped at this small village called Losimingori. The village houses a small group of wonderful individuals with plans to expand its capacity to 4,000 people. And their biggest obstacle?? WATER. They have to walk 12 miles a day JUST for clean water. We are looking to change that. They need $25,000 to build a Dam and we are gonna help them do it!!
UPDATE: We surpassed our goal of raising $25,000 in 6 hours and now have decided to help build the entire village.
Here is a list of projects we will support and I appreciate your commitment to help the Losimingori people.
-$25,000: water reserve system
-$25,000: electricity
- $30,000: medical systems (Health Equipments, Setting partition of the building)
- $25,000: Purchase Land to build Classrooms, a little big Healthcare Centers, (Nursery Schools, Maasai Medical Centre, Creating a Maasai Galary for supporting and Women Jewelry Center for Entrepreneurship
- $35,000: Supporting Women and Youth Entrepreneurs on sustainable Livelihood with Climate change Adaptation (this will include building capacity of Maasai People to keep grass/animals feedlord) that will help them to feed their animal's during very dry season like this now.
-$50,000: Vehicles for Organization and Healthcare Centers support
All of the above will help the Organization build capacity for marginalized Maasai Community to remove gender based violence within their households.
There will be 4 Phases of the first project to install the water system. The project in entirety will take 40 - 45 days. First phase will take 15 days while the second, third and fourth phase both will take 10 days each. We plan on transferring the necessary funds for each phase after each one is complete. We have a trusted team down in Tanzania who will be conducting everything and reporting back to us each step of the way. The total for this first project will be USD 29,050.
First Phase: Procurement and Purchasing of building Material for Tank Foundation and Start funds for Public Dams maintenance in the village is USD 10,500
Second Phase: Continuation of the Project started in phase 1 is USD 6,500
Third Phase: Continuation of the work Project based in the previous phases is USD 6,500
Fourth Phase: For the final projects completion (Water reservation system infrastructure building) and rain water harvesting infrastructure building and community awareness on dams’ water treatment is USD 5,550
To complete this project, we established a 501c3 private foundation- The DML Group Foundation. Funds will be withdrawn by the DML Group Foundation and we plan to help more communities in need once this project is complete.
