Building a Home of Love in Kensington

Tax deductible
Michael Grogan leads the Philadelphia-based ministry, Connect with Heaven, which currently benefits those in need in the Kensington community, a most impoverished area also known as the largest open-air drug market on the East Coast.

Our recent documentary, The Mud, showcases the tremendous positive impact we've had on the people of this community, especially young men who have fallen victim to gang and drug culture. Michael is often called upon to share his experiences and the work he is doing to build up the Kingdom of God, bringing more awareness to this critical issue in one of America’s great cities but that plagues so very many others as well.

Legally blind, Michael has an incredible story of his own, but that’s never stopped him from tirelessly caring for this community every day - providing food, prayer, and shelter to those in need. His mission is to plant the seeds of truth in the hearts of young people and families that are overwhelmed by a culture of death, drugs, and abandonment.

The goal of this GoFundMe is to raise enough money to purchase a home in Kensington that will serve as a gathering place for prayer, youth mentorship, assembly of meals for the homeless and camaraderie for volunteers that will foster the growth of continued outreach to this incredibly impoverished community.

Thank you so very much for considering this opportunity to advance the future of our young people.
