Building a Majid

Asalamu Alekom,

I pray you are in the best state in health and Eman.

Your brothers and sisters in Benin (West Africa) are in dire need of building a masjid. There are 2 villages which the masjids are exposed to cold weather and rain in the winter season. One of the masjids was totally wiped out by the rain and the villagers currently pray without any roof or walls.

Masjids in those villages are extremely important not only for the 5 daily prayers; but also in conducting lectures and lessons educating the villagers in their religion. Majids are also used by wemen and children for activities and social events like marriages.

When it rains and becomes cold and muddy all religious and community activity are impacted and almost halt to a complete stop including collective prayers.

This is a great opportunity to invest your money with Allah (ST) in a Sadaqa Jariya (ongoing sadaqa even after leaving this dunia)

The cost of 1 well build masjid costs around (8,000 US dollars) and we need to build to Masjids in 2 different villages so the total will be around (16,000 US dollars)

Inshalla I will also share with you an identical well build masjid from another village so you can have an Idea of how the masjid will look like when the project is completed.
