Help Leah get Sober
Donation protected
For twenty years our sister Leah has struggled with alcoholism. Watching her fall into the depths of addiction has been heart wrenching but there was little that we could do without her willingness to enter treatment. All we could do is support her and hope she found the strength to get help. She recently made the courageous decision to reach out and told us she doesn't want to live this way any longer. We are doing everything we can to ensure she gets the treatment she needs to become a healthy and happy person. The cost of treatment is high but absolutely necessary for her recovery. We are hoping to raise $15000 dollars to cover the cost of the inpatient treatment center. Leah is a wonderful human being who deserves to find happiness and health. Our family knows that the window to get someone into treatment is short and we are hoping that we can raise enough money to get her help while she is still willing to do so.
These are the words that she shared with us regarding the situation:
"After 20 years of struggling with addiction i have decided it is time to get professional help. This is not cheap, but i hope it is going to save my life. I have struggled with my demons for so long i am not sure who i will be without them, but i dont think anyone has ever said their life was worse from getting help. I hope to raise money to help pay for what my insurance wont cover and my bills while i am gone....my friends and family have probably seen me drunk more times than sober...i have tried to stop on my own and have failed over and over but i am not giving up yet. Please help me raise money so i can get the help i desperatly need. Thank you. "
Please help us save her life! We don't want to lose her to this disease. Anything you can give will help her succeed in this journey. It is incredibly brave to share this difficult process with the world but we cannot do it alone. Thank you so much for helping Leah
