Building Alice's brain

Donation protected
Alice was 6 months old when her brain got inflamed resulting in a brain injury that almost caused her death. From CPR to ambulance and air lifting we parents were not believing that our smiling girl, that big one baby had stopped briefing and was fighting for her life in that small body. So she got out of it but the injury made her body be flop with less strength than a newborn. She had to learn to eat, move her body, see some light through the eyes and make sounds. Since that time until today at 3 years and a half we are doing occupational therapy, physical therapy, vision therapy and speech therapy and studying about foods and therapies related to traumatic brain injury. She has cortical vision impairment and delays in all areas. With the treatment of stem cells we hope to give her more brains cells as her head stopped growing and without those building blocks it is difficult for her to learn all those skills we need to be a big girl as draw, go potty, talk with sentences, walk using stairs, ride a toy, understand a play, eat by herself. It is why each contribution is important and will help with something to her in this journey. We love her too much and are hopeful that she will grown learning how much people around the globe cared for her and that she can help others too and be an example of a winner on this fight against brain injury.
