My name is **Jasmine Speers**, and I work as a **disability support worker**. While traveling in Bali this past April, I learned about an orphanage that not only cares for vulnerable children but also supports those with disabilities. This hit home for me, so I had to see it for myself.

I raised a little money from friends and made the **one-hour journey from Uluwatu to We Love Bali** to visit the facility. I was welcomed by a team of dedicated nurses, all deeply engaged with the children and eager to answer my questions.

### **What I Saw & Why I’m Taking Action**

The orphanage provides care for children as young as **12 months old up to 12 years**, and I was blown away by the **love, warmth, and music-filled energy** in the space. However, as I walked around, I noticed areas that could use real improvements—starting with the **main room, which lacked a ceiling fan**.

These children spend most of their time inside the facility, and creating a **safer, more comfortable, and fun environment** would make a world of difference. That’s when the idea hit me—

**Our Goal: $10,000**

**My Commitment: I’m personally pledging $2,000**, and I already have tradespeople interested in flying over to help with the build.

**Transparency:** I’ll be taking time off work to oversee the project and setting up a public spreadsheet so everyone can see exactly where their donations are going.
