Joe Manns served in the Woodlawn community for over 30 years and his accomplishments were recognized with the Joe Manns Black Wall Street Award by BMore News. This award is now given to many black entrepreneurs in the U.S.

Since the passing of Joe Manns, his son (Joshua Manns) has stepped in to keep the legacy alive.
