Building Hope: A Mission Trip to Brazil’s Amazon

Story: With the help of the Missões Noroeste (Northwest Mission Institute) in Brazil, and in collaboration with the Seventh-Day Adventist Church Youth Ministry department in Scotland, our mission trip to the Amazon Rainforest in Brazil is not just about traveling to a new destination; it's about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Brazil is a country rich in culture and diversity, but it also faces numerous challenges. In area such as the Amazon Rainforest there is a need for access to things such as education and healthcare. Inspired by a shared desire to help, our team is eager to roll up our sleeves and get to work.

Fundraising: Join us on a life-changing journey as we embark on a mission trip to the Amazon Rainforest in Brazil! Our team is dedicated to making a positive impact by providing aid and support to communities in need. As a means to raise the necessary funds, we will be embarking on a Mission to climb as many Scottish Munros as possible, until we have accumulated a total climbing height of 8,849m - which is the height of the tallest peak in the world, Mount Everest. 

With your support through our GoFundMe campaign, we will be able to fund vital aspects of our mission trip, including:

 1. Community Development Projects: We plan to work alongside local organisations and community leaders to identify and address pressing needs, such as building infrastructure, renovating schools, and improving access to clean water and sanitation facilities.

 2. Healthcare Initiatives: Access to healthcare is a fundamental human right, yet many communities in the Amazon lack adequate medical facilities and resources. Your donations will enable us to provide medical supplies, conduct health clinics, and offer basic healthcare services to those in need.
