"13 houses" A home for Yadira and her family in Costa Rica.

In an act of global solidarity, Costa Rica has been chosen as part of the "13 Houses" Campaign, an initiative by the Vincentian Family to fight homelessness worldwide. This campaign aims to provide homes and hope to those in need, and Costa Rica’s beneficiary is Yadira Maliaño Zamora and her family. Yadira, a single mother of four living in vulnerable conditions in Bajo Zamora, Purral, supports her family through sewing. Now, she has the opportunity to receive a dignified home that will include a sewing workshop, allowing her to continue earning income and supporting other women in her community.

The estimated cost of the house is ₡45 million colones ($90K), and we need your help to make this dream a reality. The home will provide a safe and stable environment for Yadira and her children, and with your generosity, it will be completed by August 2025.
