Building Projects at Amolatar School, Uganda.
Donation protected
On Saturday Jimmy Kings was advised of the news that the heavy rains in Amolatar had caused serious damage to the temporary kitchen. (see photo above)
It's amazing that they managed to cook 300 plus meals in the existing kitchen. We are thankful that the children were on holiday. As you can see the existing structure in no longer suitable for purpose.
The plan is to build a far more substantial kitchen in keeping with the rest of the new builds and this is where we need your help and support. Obviously this wasn't a planned project, but has landed on our plate.
Jimmy is currently working with the engineer to get a price to build a new larger kitchen with a storage room.
It's not going to be as big as the example below but hopefully it gives you an idea.
We appreciate any donations large or small.
The preference is for people to donate as they would normally to the SORD bank account or via PayPal [email redacted] ensuring that it's marked for friends and family or a charitable donation.
