Building Resilience Against Dictatorship's Propaganda

Democracy is under attack: The Russian Federation and its authoritarian allies are targeting our societies with disinformation, propaganda, and subversive activities.
This is happening intensively on social media, but not only there: so-called "useful idiots" and agents of influence infiltrate the information space of our democracies to spread the agenda of the authoritarians, confuse, divide, and weaken us. The current main objective of this information warfare campaign is to demonize Ukraine in order to cut off our support, but also to strengthen the political fringes and destabilize our democracies.
The initiative "Disinformation Resilience Network" aims to connect experts from various fields and volunteers, coordinating joint efforts to expose, debunk, and counter these foreign interference campaigns by the authoritarians.
What the Disinformation Resilience Network does:
- Connects individuals with various backgrounds to expand the network
- Monitors disinformation activities
- Provides information & analysis to the media
- Raises awareness of the issue of international propaganda campaigns
- Workshops and specialized seminars on disinformation, foreign interference, and agents of influence.
The Disinformation Resilience Network is a non-partisan NGO based in Vienna, Austria.
