Building Tiny Homes for the Homeless

Hi, our names are Abbie Bly and Lexi Gates. We are high school students in the Bay Area, and we are searching for donations to support our tiny house project! We are donating a completed tiny house in the spring to a homeless transition organization in Oakland (Operation Dignity). Any donations would be appreciated!!
Our Mission Statement: To spend our Junior year prepping, designing, sourcing, and constructing a tiny house. The end goal of this project is to donate the tiny house to Operation Dignity, an organization that provides 24 hr safe parking sites to the homeless. The learning outcome of this project will be learning how to navigate each step of a building project while also finding an eco-friendly approach with material sourcing and thinking creatively about the engineering behind a tiny home.
