Bulldog Basics Backpack Program
Donation protected
We would like to share with you an opportunity to get involved with the Emerado School Bulldog Basics food and necessities program.
With 73.7 percent of our student body qualifying for free and reduced meals, Emerado Public School has the highest percentage of students living within the bounds of poverty of any non-tribal elementary school district in the entire state of North Dakota.
The Bulldog Basics Program was created with the intent that no child should go without their basic needs being met. Food is sent home with students every Friday afternoon to provide meals and snacks over the weekend and basic necessities (underwear, socks, clothing, coats, and other winter gear) are provided upon request.
As you can imagine, a program like this requires financial support from a number of people. For this program, we need to raise $13,000 for the 2016-2017 school year. We are currently budgeting for 58 students in need, however this number fluctuates weekly.
Monies donated will go to a dedicated account for the Bulldog Basics Program and will be used solely to meet the needs of our students.
All contributions are tax deductible and donors will be recognized in our weekly newsletter for their part in helping to sponsor this program.
Thank you so much for graciously considering how you can partner with Emerado school to better the lives of our students and their families.
