Bullmastiff Rescue Kennels

We are fundraising to have our own kennels based at Michelle’s house! For years we have relied upon Michelle to house the rescue dogs free of charge paying only for their food. This has impacted Michelle’s boarding business when rescue dogs are in kennels that are specifically for boarding customers. Michelle has very kindly offered to allow us to create 3 brand new kennels that will be solely for the use of Bullmastiff Rescue. This means we will no longer impact her business but also that we will know we have 3 kennels should there ever be an urgent situation where we need to move dogs quickly. During summer and over Xmas when kennels are super busy this has sometimes meant we have had to house dogs at a huge cost to the rescue.

There is no charge for the build of the kennels, only the materials. The kennels will be 2.5m x 1.6m with the concrete base being 9m x 11m

The total cost to build including the base is £12,603 based on quotes received.

any builders or timber merchants who are willing to give a discounted rate to get the costs down would be greatly received also!

The base is being poured as soon as we have raised the funds to cover this. The concrete base total comes to a little over £3k with drainage as this has to be done at the time of the pour.

Thank you to anyone that donates to the cause, we have never had our own kennels and it’s always been a huge stumbling block with bringing dogs in. This will make the situation much easier for us knowing we can place dogs with Michelle at any point of the year and they will get the fantastic care she has provided for the last 15+ years.
