Bullying RIP - National Youth Leadership Forum

Want to join me in making a difference? I am Emma Jones Blackshire, founder/CEO of Bullying Report It Please/Bullying RIP, a nonprofit organization with a vision to “eradicate bullying at all levels.” I am also a United States Army JROTC Instructor at Franklin Parish High School, Winnsboro, LA. Each year students from around the United States are invited to attend one of several unique programs in various locations. The selections are based on academics, leadership abilities or a student can be nominated by an educator. This year, three (3) JROTC cadets were invited to the National Youth Leadership Forum: National Security-Diplomacy, Intelligence and Defense in Washington DC. Unfortunately, this opportunity is not free. Bullying RIP would like to sponsor three young ladies for this once-in-a-lifetime experience. The total cost is approximately $15,000.00. This amount will cover tuition, including room and board, site visits, transportation during the program, lectures, simulations, curriculum and materials, faculty and staff, and airline tickets to and from Washington DC. Many parents/grandparents/guardians cannot afford to send their children. This is a small price to pay for a priceless experience. No child should have to forgo this extraordinary opportunity because of finances. If it is ever a time to invest in our future and pay it forward, it is now.
