Help Chip Fight Cancer
Donation protected
Hello Everyone
I am Jim Pittman, Chip Pittman's brother. As some of you may know Chip has recently been diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer that usually begins growing in the bone. For Chip it has severely compromised his right fibula. The tumor has weakened the bone so much that any stress on it could cause a break. Chip is self-employed as a home inspector on Marco Island, Florida and, as a result has to frequently climb ladders and crawl in attics to perform these inspections. This type of activity could break his weakened leg and cause him serious injury.
We are asking for donations to help him and Melissa make up the financial loss from Chip not being able to work during his Chemotherapy, set to begin as soon as March 22nd. This will let them focus on his treatment and recovery until he is able to get back to work. These donations will remove an enormous amount of stress from him as he worries about the loss of income and letting his clients down.
If you know my brother as I do, you know him as someone that will make you laugh with a story, a joke or one of his pranks. But he is also someone that has always been there for me, and would do whatever is necessary to help a family member or friend. I suspect he has impacted your lives in a similar way. Chip is a retired Navy chief that served 10 years active and 10 years in the reserves. He served overseas on several assignments and deeply loves this country.
May God Bless you all for anything you can give. We also ask for an even more important gift that you can give at this time.....prayer. Pray for his healing, relief of pain and strength as he fights this battle.
Phillipians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me."
On behalf of my sisters Debi and Cheryl as well as Melissa, thank you!
