Bundles's Tail Surgery

Donation protected
Bundles is a good boy in need of a medically necessary tail surgery. The total cost is quoted at $1657 by Treatwell Veterinary Clinic in Ottawa.

About Bundles
Before Bundles was rescued, he was a friendly feral, wandering the streets of Hull in search of snacks and warms spots to nap. During this time, Bundles charmed his way into the hearts of many—he’s a big boy with an affinity for headboops and street food. A true local, Bundles loves physical affection, pizza and poutine.

Sadly, during his feral-in-Hull heydays, Bundles lost half of his tail in an unknown accident. Bundles is such a sweet and sociable cat. It makes me sick to my stomach to think how this could’ve happened to him.

Extensive nerve damage and trauma left over from where his tail was severed have made healing difficult. With the support of his veterinarian, I’ve done all I can, but his tail is still causing him significant pain. In addition, I’m constantly fighting off any signs of infection, as the area is easily irritated.

After everything he has been through, Bundles deserves to live pain-free. It’s estimated that Bundles is only two years old—his best years are still ahead of him. He’s also a well-adjusted indoor cat now. Bundles will always have a home with me.

Please consider donating to Bundles’s tail surgery. To be successful, the surgery needs to happen within the next month, and the financial cost is more than I can take on.

Bundles and Pokey
Earlier this year, my senior cat Pokey passed away after a lengthy battle with inflammatory bowel disease. His medical care cost me thousands, which I paid out of pocket. Pokey was my whole world and my best friend for 17 years. He even taught Bundles how to be a good boy. I miss him every day.

Please donate
I want to give Bundles the same quality of veterinary care that Pokey got, but I need help. Given that Bundles’s existence since kittenhood has been shaped by preventable human causes, including animal cruelty and neglect, I'm hoping human kindness can be the remedy.

On the subject of kindness—lastly, I want to sincerely thank Bundles’s foster mom for rescuing him and letting me adopt him. Bundles is a real joy. He’s full of character and cuddles. I love his squishy paws and big cheeks. Bundles has also been a big source of comfort for me in the wake of Pokey’s passing. He's very loyal—Bundles is always by my side.

Please give this good boy a chance and help him with his tail surgery. Every amount counts.
