Bungoma Outreach Project 2025

Hi Everyone,

In October this year, I will have the privilege of travelling to Bungoma, Kenya with the Bungoma Outreach Project. As part of a group of 25 Volunteers, we will work in the local community directly with:

* Schools - to improve facilities to enhance learning environment including building sturdy chairs, tables and laying new floors

* Orphanages - to support teenage mothers and build cribs and safe spaces for babies and mothers to flourish

* Farmers - to harvest crops and teach essential skills to grow fresh fruit and vegetables

As part of the fundraising efforts for the trip to aid purchasing supplies to facilitate the above each volunteer has a target of €5000 to reach.

To raise awareness for the project I will be taking part in the Pettitts SuperValu 10km run on Sunday 13th April.

I will also be taking part in Hell & Back in Kilruddery House on Saturday 7th June.
