My name is Evan Reed and I'm the executive director of Bunker Arts Collective (BAC), 501c(3) non-profit organization based in Everett, WA advocating for small businesses, community members, and visual artists across Snohomish County through community trash clean-ups, free murals, and community engagement opportunities.
Since November 2023, BAC has cleared 5.27 tons of litter across the City of Everett. This effort has culminated in approx. 25 clean-up sites; often averaging at least 440lbs of trash per site.
As the months get warmer, our attention is now shifting to our mural arts and community engagement programming.
BAC selected by the Snohomish County Division of Behavioral Health and Veterans Affairs to facilitate a reimbursement style grant up to $10,000 directly benefiting the Beach Avenue neighborhood of Marysville, WA. The funds raised for this grant would commission 3 murals on the Marysville Boys and Girls Club, the installation of a community garden, an outdoor food pantry, a little free library, and a community bulletin board. Once BAC is reimbursed, the attention (and money) would be shifted towards free murals and "art-in-the-park" programming across the City of Everett.
15 Murals by Fall 2024
- $500 per mural between May - October 2024
- Base coat, equipment, and anti-graffiti coatings provided at no-cost to budget
- Artist stipend could come out of $500 budget
- Free murals for small and independently owned businesses, community organizations, schools, and more across the City of Everett
Summer Art in the Park Opportunities
- Free arts and crafts across Everett public parks
- $1000 allocated; in-kind donations appreciated
- Every weekend for three hours for 10 weeks
Van Maintenance + Repaint Donation
- $500 towards routine maintenance (oil change, transmission fluid, brakes, new horn, etc.)
- BAC is seeking a professional automotive painter to give the van a fresh coat of paint or vinyl wrap in return for a permanent van sponsorship
General Administrative Funds
- $1000 towards general administrative funds (insurance, storage, trash clean-ups, etc.)
Your donation would impact multiple projects across the Cities of Marysville and Everett that would positively impact the quality of life, access to art and culture, and economic development for small businesses and artists across Snohomish County.
