Bunna was one of a kind, he had time for anyone, he had eyes to see the good in people even if they were no good for him or they treated him badly he would only see the good, he had ears to listen to everyone’s problems, he had a mouth that spoke kind and loving words to everyone and a kiss to make anyone feel better again, he had arms to wrap everyone up in a Bunna hug, he had hands to help anyone with anything and he had the a heart big enough to love eveveryone and anyone.

Bunna’s personal life story is just tragic , to anyone who knew Bunna would say he seemed the happiest man alive but the truth is inside he was dying, struggling from mental from an early age due to so many traumatic events, the only way he could cover up his pain was to party, drink and socialise which became frequent.. but the bad experiences in life never ended for him and unfortunately fell into the hands of abusers who just took all they could from him, cheated on him, physically, mentally and emotionally abused and tormented him but due to his mental health and lack of confidence and self worth within him he took all the abuse and carried on smiling and laughing helping and loving everyone other than himself. The only thing he relied on to numb his pain was a drink and before we knew it.. it took a hold of him and he became reliant and knew no other way of coping in life.. drinking stop becoming a way of having fun and something that covered the pain but became a way of just getting through the day to the point he hid away and suffered with his demons alone inside, he made sure others didn’t feel alone with his kindness and love he gave but inside he was so alone and could not escape the demons he had been battling his whole life.

He tried so so hard to get better.. sitting in A&E for 18hours during lockdown to be told to go home they have no beds, he would video record and tell them to say it on video to prove he got turned away and the security got called to kick him out, being discharged to walk home alone when he was gravely I’ll because they needed the beds and nobody in the system wants to help anyone with a alcohol or drug addiction, he went to rehab for weeks being drugged up on diazepam to then be sent home with no medication or aftercare and never ever any mental health help.. 4 years we tried so hard to get him some help for mental health and everyone refused because they won’t assess anyone under the influence of alcohol.. yet the reason people end up on these tragic paths are because of their mental health.. they are the ones that need the help the most.. and all these people that abused and failed him in his mind proved how unworthy he was.

Bunnas illness had gone too far and eventually took his life and took one of the best men, Dad, Son, Brother, Grandad to a grandson and grandson on the way, Uncle, Nephew, cousin and friend away from us all on Tuesday 14th June at 6:25am in the arms of his mom, sister and brother.

ripping out all our hearts as he left us and our lives will never be the same again, he was the light of our life that kept us all going and picked us up when we were down and saved so many lives.. we just wished we could have saved his.

so the least we can do is give Bunna the biggest bestest send off he deserves.. Let’s show him how worthy and loved he really was by us all
