*Update* A message from my grandparents-
Burch Family Farm gives thanks to all
September 17, 2017 was a beautiful Sunday, filled with feelings a fine harvest was nearing its end. As we were putting the last few bales of hay in the barn, everything changed in a flash--FIRE--Feelings quickly melted into shock, despair and loss.
We want to express our sincere gratitude and thanks to our community for helping us through this challenging time:
Thank you Family, Friends, Fire Departments, Emergency Responders, Neighbors, Local Businesses, Business Associates, Schools, Churches, 4-H Groups, Volunteer Groups and People we don't even know for your generous contributions both material and monetary, your words of encouragement to nourish the soul, food to nourish the body, and labor to save the livestock, move the livestock and help with the cleanup.
We invite everyone to stop by and view the progress after the cleanup is done and to a yet-to-be-determined pig roast next year to celebrate "community" to give thanks to all who have contributed during our time of need.
We are so blessed and forever grateful.

My grandparents, Richard and Lucy Burch, recently lost their barns in a horrific fire that caused the death of a significant portion of the livestock, as well as loss of necessary machinery. Any contributions that anyone would care to make, no matter how small, will surely be appreciated as they begin to get back on their feet.
