Hi, my name is Dave Burford.  I serve as the part-time Worship Director for Common Ground Christian Church- Midtown in Indy, IN. I have recently been accepted into Bethel Church's WorshipU On-Campus.

WorshipU On-Campus is a two-week intensive held in Redding, California for worship: leaders, songwriters, musicians, and creatives. Taught by the Bethel Music Collective and guest instructors, WorshipU On-Campus is a transformational time to grow in craft and cultivate a deeper connection to God through worship, teaching, and training.

I've been playing drums and leading worship for almost 20 years but it has only been in the past two that I have served as a part-time staff member at a church. I love what I'm doing and want to do it better! I believe participating in WorshipU will give me the chance to grow as a leader and worshipper. I'm really excited about this opportunity, but it also will require some significant funding to get this Hoosier to California!  Below is a breakdown of what it will cost me to attend. I ask that you would prayerfully consider supporting me financially. 

* Tuition $849.00 (I was able to snag $100 discount by being an Online Student already! YES!)

* Flight $672.00 (Indy to Sacramento)

* Loss of Wages $1241.22 (Unfortunately as a part-time staff I do not get time off so I will take the time unpaid.)

* Car Rental: $897.85 (Redding is a two-hour drive from the closest major airport in Sacramento.)
