Burgers And Bags Back to School Giveaway

Only the Strong Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit that has been preparing underserved community youth to successfully start the school year since 2009. Access to school supplies at the beginning of the year is a major contributing factor to academic success and higher self-esteem, according to students, parents and teachers. We have successfully expanded our fundraising and outreach every year for the youth in the Montbello & Green Valley Ranch neighborhoods.

Our primary funding source has been individual donations coming from people who believe in our mission and goals. We have been able to make a significant difference for families in our community despite not having the benefit of corporate sponsorship. Your donation goes to the purchasing supplies and backpacks, for our end-of-summer Burgers & Bags giveaway, which includes free health physicals for students, dental hygiene and other wrap around services.
