Burglary & Arson Recovery Fund for Noah
Donation protected
Dear friends and family,
I don’t even know where to start. This is definitely a story for the books. My nephew (Noah) has found himself in the middle of a series of unfortunate events. He recently arrived home to find a parade of fire trucks and police cars. In short, his apartment had been burglarized, all his valuables stolen, and to top it off, the burglar set fire to his apartment upon leaving the residence. No one was hurt from the flames, but the damages are extreme and Noah does not have an active renters insurance policy to help cover the following expenses:
- Temp costs for displacement
- Furnishing a new home
- Replacing basic household needs
- Clothes (he likes pants with lots of pockets)
Noah (who our family calls cannoli because he’s one of the sweetest and selfless people we know), just settled into his new apartment last year. It was his first place after graduating from the University of Houston. He’s worked extremely hard to make his first house a home and despite everything that has happened in the last week, he has carried such an optimistic outlook on life.
This Go Fund Me was set up as an act of love and to help Cannoli get back on his feet after experiencing such an extreme loss. It’s going to require time, money, and energy and while I can’t be physically present to help my nephew during this transitional time, this is my way of supporting and showing love from the West Coast. Noah would never want to inconvenience anyone ask for help in this way, so this is where I’m stepping in as his Aunt.
Any little bit would be helpful and appreciated as we get Cannoli back on his feet. Sending gratitude and love.
