Burial for Beetle- Please Help
This photo is of the last handmade gift to a father from his generous child, Beetle which he received the day before their very serious car accident.
What Happened
The following description is based on what the dad knows given limited ability to access written information, due to his injuries. On the evening of November 18, 2023, Beetle, an animal lover, and their dad adopted a kitten. They were driving home from Green Bay, Wisconsin. The car was later found in a wooded area close to Hwy 57. Beetle’s father sustained a clavicle fracture, fractures to his nose, fractures to eye socket bones, and lacerations to his face.
As a father does, he found a way to get out of the crumbled Ford Expedition. He stumbled with a bloody face, and blurred vision to where he thought the road may be. After several attempts to ask for help on the highway, someone stopped ahead of him. He walked in the vehicle’s direction, then asked the driver for help for his young child. Beetle’s father remembers the sirens, then later two Green Bay Deputies came to tell him that his loving child, of 18 years old, was no longer alive. The kitten was found later with minimal injury. Beetle’s father was taken to a local hospital. He will be out of work for at least 2 months due to injuries sustained in the accident. Beetle’s body is waiting for a funeral which honors a short but thoughtful life.
Why Help is Needed
Money is being raised to give Beetle, a funeral, a burial, a headstone, give GoFundMe its portion; ideally before by the week of December 17.
Any amount donated will be greatly appreciated.
More about Beetle
Intelligent Beetle was earning a degree in Psychology at the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay. Persistent Beetle desired to become a licensed psychologist. After receiving an “A” in Psychology at Skyline College in their early teens, Beetle’s path in Psychology began. Recently Beetle's father and Beetle declared both of their majors in Psychology, happily working to earn their degrees side-by-side. Caring Beetle wanted to help as many people as possible in confronting their challenges. Beetle understood firsthand the difficulty in managing obstacles in life while maintaining mental and physical health.
Beetle graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School and attended NWTC- Sturgeon Bay. In Middle School, Beetle volunteered teaching others, volunteered at Our Lady of Angeles Church as a choir singer, and directed arts and crafts activities for children.
THANK YOU for anything you can offer in helping the family afford a funeral, a burial, and a headstone which corresponds to Beetle’s beautiful life.
We will update you as new information is available regarding funds raised and funeral dates.
