We lost my dad Tuesday after a battle with Covid-19. He was taken from us very unexpectedly at the young age of 58.
He touched the life of so many people in our community. He greeted everyone with a smile, always, and always had a joke to share to brighten someone's day. He loved his family, both blood and chosen, and loved spending time with them. You could always find him at a kids ball game(where he loved to announce if given the chance), or spending time with some family member, or friend. He spent countless hours at the Moose club in Portsmouth trying to give back to the community helping to host events for Christmas, Easter, and many other holidays to make sure anyone who needed a place to go, or a bite to eat had a place to do so. He was a great man, and I know his loss will leave a hole in the heart of many who loved him dearly.
We have discovered now, that Dad did not have health insurance, so his services will be paid for out of pocket by the family. Many people have asked about making donations to help out for services, so we wanted to get the ball rolling. We appreciate all the love everyone has shown to Dad all these years, and we appreciate anything anyone can give to help cover some of the cost of his burial and services. Please continue to send love to our family in this difficult time.
