Nari, as family and friends calls her, was born with Skeletal Dysplasia, a genetic condition known by many names like Dwarfism.....a name Nari didn't accept. This little statured giant REFUSED to accept a height challenge as an obstacle. From cooking, gymnastics, hanging with her "squad" of childhood friends, babysitting her younger bigger cousins to telling bold face truth without as much as a flinch of a face muscle. This babys life is EXEMPLARY!
Her parents Bro Michael T. Muhammad of New Jersey and Sis. Lanika Muhammad of Seattle, thank Allah (God) her innocence was never violated by any man or woman. She never smoked ANYTHING, used foul language as her way of communicating, never disrespected authority or fell victim to the wayward ways of this world. As any 15 year old teenager, she planned to work and earn her own money and had already looked at the type of cars she wanted to drive!
The sudden transition from the beautiful little girl we all know to a cough, difficulty breathing, flatlining in the ER to no brain activity is less than a 12 hour period took ALL who love and know her by surprise. The 4th of 5 children, who all would sacrifice their own comfort for their sister, will be removed from life support sometime this weekend to prevent further damage to her organs and body. Sanari's parents and family are certainly in need of our financial help.
A Muslim Prayer service and the burial is being planned in her hometown of Kent, Washington a suburb of Seattle as her friends and family say their goodbyes and give their undying love at Seattle Children's Hospital ICU.
