BURIAL OF LINDA OBIAGELI UDEAGBALA (NHS FRONTLINE)
Spende geschützt
On the 3rd February 2021, our beloved mother, was taken into the hands of the Lord, which has left us with a void in our hearts that can never be truly filled. Linda passed away at the age of 60 after a short and courageous battle with Covid-19, surrounded by her loved ones who will continue to honour her legacy by living their lives to the fullest. She was not only our mother, but she was a wife of nearly 40 years, the eldest of her siblings and a much loved friend to many.
Linda Obiageli Udeagbala worked on the front lines as a Community Nurse doing what she loved, which involved caring for the sick and vulnerable. She provided care for patients undergoing palliative treatments and was often described by her colleagues as a comforting and reassuring element for patients in the last stage of their lives.
Despite great risk to herself, our mother continued to have face to face patient contact. She loved her job and the patient interaction that came with it. She could not bare having to potentially have no patient contact for an indeterminate period of time.
Linda is survived by her husband, Francis; her 5 adult children, Marvin, Colin, Gerard, Cheyrinne and Angelica; her three grandchildren, her brother and sister and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Anyone that knew her would know that she was a thoroughly family orientated person, and that she would do anything for the betterment of her family and friends, even at her own expense.
There are many who have asked to make financial contributions towards the cost of her funeral. Please kindly note that funds donated will go towards a fitting burial for a woman who committed her life to helping others.
God bless
