Burial Services for Dindo Espeleta
Donation protected
On Friday March 27, my dad, Dindo Espeleta had a brain hemorrhage. It was very unexpected but we later found out, it was due to blood pressure. There wasn't any type of signs, or anything we could have really done to prevent it.
My dad was a cool dad, as cheesy as that sounds. He went from break dancing, to a buffness phase, and was in TWO bands. For his midlife crisis, he bought an evo, which is the car from Fast and Furious (which I still find super funny). But, most importantly, he was a dad.
Everyone knows how much it meant to him to be a dad and provide for us. My dad was the most hardworking, selfless man and was always there to listen when I needed. When I was in high school, he used to bring me soup from a very specific place in Chinatown every time I complained about being in pain, despite him working long days. It still hurts me to think I was never able to give him as much as he gave to me but all I can do now is keep his memory alive.
Any amount donated will be appreciated. We're struggling to gather money for his burial service due to the surprise of this all. I know this is surprising if you knew him too. But, instead of us only grieving together, let's all try to keep his memory alive. With your donations, leave one (or more) of your favorite stories with him.
