Burn This in Process

It's me, Jana, and I'm here because 5 years ago I fell in love with the play 'Burn This.' Ever since then, I've dreamt of bringing this beautiful and tragic, raw and honest story to New Yorkers in an underground, immersive way. This play confronts huge issues in the everyday lives of 4 humans: homosexuality, love in the face of death and the meaning of true art. I found three incredible actors to join the cast and go on pure belief. Thus far, I've self-funded the whole process: renting space, scheduling rehearsals and implementing infrastructure and a plan. We are now at the stage of bringing in the brilliant Shelley Mitchell from LA to coach us. I have secured the space in the LES and am so excited to share where we are at with our community. But we need some help! We have so many friends near and far that cannot make this show in person. We would be so beyond grateful for you to show your support with donations that equal a ticket price, less or more. All of the donated funds will go towards the cost of the rehearsal space, performance space, and our coach (and if any is leftover-then to pay the brilliant actors). Anything is hugely appreciated.
