Burnley Community Grocery take on Born to Survive

We are the Burnley Community Grocery. We help the population of Burnley and beyond
to cope with the increased cost of living, by giving a cheaper alternative to a weekly shop. On average our customers save between £25-£30 per shop.

We operate as a bridge between a food bank and a traditional supermarket to combat the effects of the huge increase in cost of living, without taking away the customers choice of goods. Our customers pay £4 for a shop, which they can do twice a week - in this shop they can choose: a bakery item, a non-food item, a frozen item, 5 portions of fruit and veg and 7 shelf items.
Any donations to this page will go directly to the population of Burnley, each pound will go a long way.

Participating in the gruelling 10km obstacle course is our manager Daniella Steenbergen, and 6 of our volunteers.
