Burris Family House Fire Disaster Relief

Tuesday, September 15th at around 6:30 a.m. a fire broke out in my aunt and uncle (Holly and Jerry Burris)'s home and quickly destroyed the majority of their belongings.
My uncle Jerry and cousin Karlee were asleep in the home when the fire started. A neighbor passing by noticed the flames/smoke and ran up, pounding on the front door; they were able to escape by crawling under the flames/smoke. Karlee was admitted to the hospital due to smoke inhalation. She has recovered and their family is safe. Karlee's cat, Charleigh, however, is no longer with us.
The Burris family spent the past 6 years living in this home. Aunt Holly hosted many Thanksgiving/Christmas dinners and various other parties with our family; we made many amazing memories which will be cherished forever. We hope they will be back on their feet again soon so we can continue to celebrate the gift of family time together.
