Hi my name is Katie and I am hoping to help raise some money for my friend Beth and her family. Here is a little information on why I am starting a gofundme for them.     Last week, Beth found out during a CT scan that, unbeknownst to her, she has a colloid cyst (tumor) that has grown in her brain. This cyst is large enough where it is starting to block some fluid flow in her brain. The doctors let her and her husband know that it needs to be removed and thus have surgery scheduled tomorrow; a week and 2 days after finding out about this cyst.   This has been a huge amount of information and a lot of questions, dropped in their laps in this short amount of time. With only a short time to plan for a major surgery, Beth also has her 6 year old daughter to think about and explain what will be happening in the next few days and months of recovery to come.   In spite of this news, Beth has remained strong in her faith and continues to explain any questions to anyone who asks with her energetic smile and kindness.  Even if she's explained it 20+ times already!   I am hoping to help raise some money to help pay off some of the medical expenses for Beth and her family.
